Enter Our Photography Competition
We are giving three people the chance to win the following prizes by entering our photography competition. All you have to do is capture our lighting in situ, could be down your local, your favourite restaurant or even in your own home. All images submitted must be high resolution. Fancy grabbing the attention of not just us? Upload them on social media using the hashtag #TWBPHOTOCOMP and tagging us in the post. Be sure to include where the photo was taken :)
1st place – £1000 to spend in-store or online with The Workshop Below and a pair of tickets to Grand Designs Birmingham (10th- 14th October 2018)
2nd place – £500 to spend in-store or online with The Workshop Below and a pair of tickets to Grand Designs Birmingham (10th- 14th October 2018)
3rd place – Pair of tickets to Grand Designs Birmingham (10th- 14th October 2018)
How to prepare your submission
All submissions must be the entrant’s own work or have rights to use the image, and they must own the copyright to any photographs entered. Entrants will retain copyright of the photographers that they submit to The Workshop Below. By entering the competition all entrants grant The Workshop Below the right to publish and use of submitted photographs on all marketing publications, on all social media channels, television and on The Workshop Below’s website.
When uploading files please use the following format for the file name – TWB_COMP_(your name)_(where it was taken)
So if your name was John Smith and you had taken the picture at home you would use the following –
Photographic entries should be JPEG (.jpg / .jpeg) format and a maximum of 1MB in size. Most photo editing software allows you to reduce the file size of an image. Entrants are able to submit up to 5 images per application.
The competition closes at 23:59 on 30th September 2018. Entries are moderated. Not all entries will appear on our website or social media and your image may not appear immediately.
How winners are chosen and how you win
The competition closes at 23.59 on 30th September 2018. The Workshop Below will pick 5 submissions to be shortlisted.
The shortlist will be published on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and the winner will be selected by the public. The public will be asked to vote by commenting on which image they like the most/best (1-5). Voting starts on 2nd October and closes on 7th October 2018.
All the votes will be added together across the social platforms and the winner(s) will be announced on 8th October 2018.
